Religion & Ethics Newsweekly: Sara Miles

Check this short video clip re: Sara Miles and the work she is doing at St. Gregory. Miles is the author of Take This Bread, a book I referred to in a previous post.

Speaking of books, picked up a great (and extremely easy/short read) called Seedfolks by Paul Fleischman. I highly recommend for all readers, young and old. It tells the story of a community garden in Cleveland through the voices of those neighborhood residents who plant and tend it. Great parable about community and the hope that springs forth when people work together for good. I recommend it for parents with young kids to read aloud or as a first read for those 10 and up.

Sorry my posts have been more book review than personal revelation lately. I am in a "collection" phase where I am pouring myself into books, magazines, and other media outlets looking for inspiration. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to send them my way.

Thanks for all the prayer lately as well.
